I Love Lucius.

 I can't believe it's pudding!

La Bianca Jumpsuit: Magpie
Red Lipstick: Mac (So I might have stolen it from mother...)
Red Foam Platforms: $5 L.A. Shoe Store
Red Head Thing: Belt From A Coat

I think I might have mentioned once or twice my tendency to fall flat on my ass multiple times in a day, so when I decided to challenge myself and wear the beautiful platforms that were collecting dust in my room, I knew it would be no easy task. I wasn't even going anywhere remotely fancy, just Wal-Mart and El Pollo Loco, and that's as fancy as it got. According to my mom, with heels, I walk with terrible posture, so until I teach myself how not to walk like Bambi, I will only attempt it in the safety of my home. Mind you, this was, like, my first time ever wearing such high shoes, and it could have definitely gone worse. I only tripped and stumbled into the wrong aisle a couple of time, but I'll live.
While waiting on line at El Pollo Loco, a creepy man croaked out that I looked like Lucy. Now, I know what Lucy he referred to, but it was such an overall creepy experience I just stood there politely and waited for the lady to hurry up and hand me the food. It wasn't that the man was creepy, cause he was, but he said it in such a low voice that succeeded in sending shivers down my spine. I sound like  paranoid freak, but at least another person that wasn't me got the whole vibe I was trying to take on today. Not necessarily Lucy, but more "50s Daughter Takes On Pudding Shopping While Tripping On Her Dangerously-High Shoes".

*I sorta think I killed my camera cause the lens is all crappy and doesn't shut the shutters completely and I am freaking out cause I don't have money to buy a new one. : / But I like how it looks, so I just contradict myself like crazy.

You know your sister loves you when

In the ruins of Pompei

You see, I take history very serious. Seriously.
My sister has been blessed with this awesome function her camera has, the only thing mine does, is getting broken, repeatedly.

Shorts: Three-Way Thrift
Tiny Flower Tights: Target
Fake Doc Martens: Wal-Mart
Pink Shirt & Polka Dot Cardigan: L.A

Hey, remember a couple of days back I was MIA (as usual), well this time, i have a valid reason to be an excuse for my absence: I went to visit my awesome sister. In Italy. I missed her like a , um, sister misses her other sister. Gee, how many brain cells did I burst coming up with that one? Forgetting my lack of wit, it was a place where I felt I became one with art because everything from the streets to the churches covering them blend together, erasing the lines between art and reality. Churches line up the streets and incorporate its ancient beauty with the modern world, transporting you into a dimension where you become the paint in a portrait. It was walking on territory I only thought I could visit in the middle of the night while lost in some crazy dream. Sure, I dreamt of going to Europe (don't we all?) but the actual thought of setting foot there never crossed my mind as an actual thing that could actually happen, ya know, in real life.
But its not all beauty, we got followed by a pervert in Venice. Really the man could have had the consideration to let us tourist walk in peace with our gelato. It was fucking scary, actually.

Oh, that picture where I lie motionless on the ground with a bike next to me? It's nothing really, just a  picture my loving sister took of me after I flew out of the bike and into the dirt. She said all she heard was a loud shrieky "Aaaaaah" from me and then I was laughing on the floor. We took bikes around Popei, and because I can't go a day without kissing the floor, I,um, tripped while riding a bike. Ugh, serves me right for trying to photograph and ride.

Listen Up, Listen Up, Voices Scatter

The world's comfiest butterfly shirt: Forever 21
Skirt: The best gift from my best sister
Tights: Swapmeet
Ancient Flats: Um, H&M?

I wore this outfit on Friday, and, please allow me to tell you, this skirt made my day. It was quite windy, but I seriously couldn't have given a fuck because the skirt's powers are that awesome. My outfit's simple enough, yet I felt as if I should've been jumping roofs or engaged in some other type of miscreant shenanigans. So I have to thank my sister, for handing the skirt that was probably fabricated by the hooves of Unicorns or Narnians down to me. I was in such a good mood the whole day that I wasn't even bothered by the fact that all I was gonna do that day was creep on the internet, and watch Slumdog Millionaire.
I am sure that while taking this pictures the force of the wind might have revealed what lay underneath the marvelous skirt, but my street is a dead street (except for the hippie parents that live down the block). Have A Happy Saturday!

You Have Been Warned, This Is A Place Of Fangirling

Yeah, please excuse this moment. I had no idea the trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part Two) was out, so I am a bit out of it. Pardon me, but I have this weird obsession with the Harry Potter books that makes me dress up to go see the movies and such. I know, I am that girl. But this and this makes me love it even more.

*Is it bad that I laughed when Harry threw himself off with Voldemort in his arms? It just seemed something straight out of a Voldemort/Harry fan fiction. Hehe.

Please Excuse This Commercial Interruption.

Hello, fellow Narnians. Ummm, I haven't uploaded anything lately, but it isn't cause I've been to busy scrolling the internets with a bag of chips at my side. Not at all. I will soon post some lovely pictures (as lovely as my shaky shots can be) concerning my whereabouts.

Hey! Look 'ere! Can this beauty be a sort of prolonged apology on my behalf?

"I'm just a musical prostitute, my dear"

Can I just Say That ---. How can I not love this man? If only I could wear lightning unitards as exquisitely as he did, I would be wearing (more like strutting) them all over the place.
I'll just leave before I begin my freakishly long, incoherent love declarations.

One Dolla One Dolla Pretty

A friend of mine advised me to smile more in pictures. Ya Dig? Cause I look like a creep.
Dudes, my knees look like furious faces.
I got some Killer gloves.
Overalls: The Thrift Store
Boots: The Walmart
Shirt: The F21
Clockbag: The Stupidiotic.
The Glove*: The Lucky Lingerie Store.

Los Angeles. Oh , how I love thee. My mom required me to accompany to L.A. and what kind of daughter would I have been if I had rejected such a petition? A horrible one worthy of getting pooped on by pigeons. Anyhows, I dressed pretty casual cause walking is not my thang, and you try lugging boxes of shoes in disco shoes. (If you can, can you come with us next time?) My mom is into making bows, flower arrangements, and basically anything creative and DIY, so we headed into the fake flower shop and I FOUND TINY LITTLE BIRDIES AND ROOSTERS. I was so excited afterwards, that I didn't mind walking some more. (Scratch that, my soles were on the verge of coming apart, so I might have let out a whine or two.)
Los Angeles is a wonderful place, although a bit sketchy at times. You can seriously find anything there. I got a bit restless from staring at beads and shoes and came across a lingerie shop. I went in with the pure intention (when can a trip to a lingerie store ever be pure?) of buying some tights, but, as always, I was the victim of distraction. I ended up buying some awesome tights with a tiger on the leg and left the store. Then quickly ran back to buy the leather gloves. The guy working there must have thought I was another sex-obsessed teen, but, hey, I have ugly leather gloves now.

*The glove is actually a bicycling/ weight-lifting glove, not a badass I-belong-to-the-motorcycle-gang one... Hmmm.. Maybe I should save up for a Harley and join the crew next? Right after I have enough money to by some Docs, of course.

Follow Me Into This Safe-Looking Dark Alley

Black Lace Dress: Present From Mom
Shoes: Downtown L.A.
Tights: Swap Meet
Plaid Dark Green Shirt: Sisters

I hadn't intended to wear green in this particular Thursday because: 1. I have no green clothing 2. I had a strong need for black in the morning and 3. I only remembered it was St. Patrick's Day mere moments before I departed to school. Due to the fact that I do not like pinching, hardly ever wear green, and the back of my dress is inappropriately open, I slipped on this shirt, and,Voila!, I was ready for some St. Patrick's cheer. I hoped my overuse of black clothing would intimidate people causing them to fear me, enabling them to pinch me. And it worked. I am The Master Of The Night.
Hope you did something incredibly fun today like drinking and such. I spent it by sleeping. Am I gansta or whut, yo?

*Apologies for the crappy photo quality. If I hadn't slept the entire afternoon off, I would've manage to catch a good shot or two before the sun went down, alas, I did not. School has the power to drain every single drop of energy and happiness out of you. Rebel my peers. Join my army of nappers, and we shall succeed in conquering the world with our dark powers of slumber.

Taking A Leisurely Stroll Down The Detergent Aisle In Kmart.
Please excuse my hair, it is going through some unnerving moments.
Striped Jacket: Downtown L.A. Originally From F21
Big "Diaper" Shorts: Made By Me
Shoes & Missing Charm Chain: Downtown L.A.
Fishnet Socks: Target
Black Shirt: Mom Passed It Down To Me

Under normal circumstances, I photograph my outfits in my lovely dead-tree-d backyard; however, due to lack of time, I used the beautiful Kmart as a backdrop. I liked the results, so from now on, I will be taking pictures in different sceneries. Taking picture after picture in my backyard has made me think taking outfit pictures as a routine, but by taking unexpected pictures in unexpected places, I will have more fun. And get out of the house more. Not only will I explore my (lack of) photographic/posing skills, I will become less of a cooped-up house rat. Hurray!
Oh, about the Rit Dye next to my bag.... As an art class assignment, we were each given a white shirt to make it into an original design of our own. My mind is racing with ideas of what to make because I actually get to sew as a graded assignment. So, there, mom. I am basically required to spend time with the good ol' thread and needle.
If all goes well with my project, I will post some pictures on it. Cross your fingers so I don't utterly screw this project up! ☻

And Here's Me Being Attacked By The Flash Whilst Attacking Ice Cream

Big, Big, Shirt: H&M
Mustard Big, Big Shirt: Bought Some Centuries Ago
Belt: Thrifted
Bag: Sister's (Don't Get Mad I Swear I Treated It Like The Doll It Is)
Necklaces: Mother's (I'm Sorry To Say I love It Too Too Much to Give It Back)

I am not sure if I've mentioned it before but I suck at posing for pictures. And taking pictures. My excuse for this particular "shoot" is it was a public restroom and had to hurry before some kid walked in on my narcissistic self. I really liked how I looked that day because: 1) My outfit didn't require me to keep rearranging it like many of mine do. 2) I got ready in a time crunch. 3) I am not gonna lie, I felt gorgeous.
I was going for this "Gypsy That Has To Dress Appropriately For Class", but I failed, as always. Back to the "gorgeous" comment, I do not feel it necessary to dress to look good in others' eyes. I remember once walking into my beloved sister's closet and reading the phrase "The only person you need to dress to impress is yourself" painted onto her wall. I bet she has no idea how that phrase stuck by me all these years, but in the morning it is the only things I think about. That and "Fuck, I'm Late". I felt awesome in this outfit. Like a failed, gypsy, but awesome.

Note To Self: Practice Posing By Trying to Smize. (No, Don't Do That or You'll Die From Laughter)
